How to Cancel a Timeshare in Indiana
IC 32-32-3-7: A purchaser has the right to cancel a timeshare contract within 72 hours of signing the contract. This 72 hour period does not include Sundays or Holidays. This right of rescission or “cooling off” period must be described in the timeshare contract, and the purchaser must be provided with a separate form for timeshare cancellation if they wish.
Owner Rights to Use
IC 32-32-3-9: If the managing entity is unable to provide an owner with either the timeshare usage within their contract or an established reservation, the owner is entitled to a comparable unit/use or monetary compensation under Indiana timeshare law.
