The Revised Statues govern timeshare law in Missouri, under Chapter 407 Merchandising Practices 407.600-407.630. The Missouri Real Estate Commission dictates further regulation on timeshare broker licensing. Missouri’s timeshare laws only sanction specific rulings on cancelation rights and licensing. Right to Cancel a Timeshare in Missouri

407.620: Missouri’s right of recession to cancel a timeshare contract is five days. Under timeshare law, notification must be sent in writing to the seller. The date of cancelation will be the date in which the letter is mailed. The right to cancel at timeshare contract cannot be waived by the buyer or seller.

Missouri Timeshare Sales Laws

Missouri Real Estate Licensing law 339.180 states that it would be unlawful for any person to carry out any action in which a real estate license or permit are necessary. This includes timeshare sales and resale.
